Day 1: Arrival in Jammu & Transfer to Katra (45 km | Approx. 1 hr)

Upon arrival in Jammu, the “City of Temples,” embark on a scenic drive to Katra (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon reaching Katra, check into your hotel. This town serves as the base camp for visiting the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan & Overnight Stay in Katra

Early morning, begin your spiritual journey to the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine, a 12 km trek nestled in the Trikuta Mountains at an altitude of 5,200 feet. Pilgrims can reach the shrine by foot, pony, palanquin, or via helicopter service from Katra (an 8-minute ride one way). Optionally, visit Bhairo Temple before returning to Katra. Day 3: Katra to Pahalgam (200 km | Approx. 5-6 hrs) & Overnight Stay

Day 4: Exploring Pahalgam & Overnight Stay

After breakfast, visit Aru Valley, famous for its tranquil surroundings and lush meadows, and a base camp for trekkers heading to Kolahoi Glacier. Next, explore Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood film “Betaab,” known for its breathtaking greenery, snow-capped peaks, and dense forests. Proceed to Chandanwari, the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. Day 5: Pahalgam to Gulmarg (150 km | Approx. 4 hrs) & Overnight Stay

Start your day with an exciting Gondola cable car ride (on direct payment) to Apharwat Mountain, offering breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and pristine meadows. Day 7: Excursion to Sonamarg (80 km | Approx. 2.5 hrs) & Return to Srinagar

After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the “Meadow of Gold.” En route, enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the Sindh Valley. Sonamarg, located at an altitude of 2,690 meters, is renowned for its spectacular trekking routes, alpine meadows, and glaciers. Visit the Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains year-round. Day 8: Srinagar Local Sightseeing & Overnight Stay in Houseboat

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, followed by the stunning Mughal Gardens—Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love)—overlooking the pristine Dal Lake.
